Toyo-Thai Corporation Public Company Limited (TTCL) received a Letter of Intent for Engineering, Procurement Service and Construction Management (EPCM) Contract for 100,000 t/y Epichlorohydrin Plant (SBT Project) from Solvay Biochemicals (Thailand) Limited. Based on Solvay's green production technology, the plant with total investment of 6 billion Baht will be built at Map Ta Phut, Rayong, using glycerin, a byproduct of biodiesel production, as raw material and this will create value added to the byproduct of biodiesel in Thailand.
