TOYO-THAI AWARDED CONTRACT TO BUILD BAYER THAI’S BISPHENOL-A DEBOTTLENECKING PROJECT
On July 1, 2005 Toyo-Thai Corporation Ltd. received an order for a project to expand the capacity of Bisphenol-A Plant for Bayer Thai Co., Ltd. This existing Bisphenol-A Plant, located in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, was successfully built by Toyo-Thai in 2001. For this Debottlenecking project, Toyo-Thai&rsquo s scope of work extends from Engineering, Procurement and Construction for this project which is scheduled to be completed by July 2006.
The client's appreciation of Toyo-Thai's capabilities already evidenced through several projects including existing Bisphenol-A Plant, their cost competitiveness, and their technological capabilities have led Toyo-Thai to win this project. Toyo-Thai will intensify its marketing efforts toward winning the petrochemical projects in Thailand.
