TOYO-THAI AWARDED MDA /UAT PROJECT FROM BAYER IN CHINA

On May 2006, Toyo-Thai Corporation Ltd. (TTCL) has received a contract from Bayer Polyurethanes (Shanghai) Company Limited (BPUS) for MDA/UAT Project in China. This project is composed of Methylenedianiline (MDA) Unit and UAT Unit (Utility Facilities for MDI Train Project).

TTCL's scope of work of the contract includes detailed engineering, procurement service of equipment and materials, and construction management of the plant on a lump sum contract basis. This project will be built in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park, Caojing, Shanghai, People&rsquo s Republic of China and scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of 2008.

Since 2000, TTCL has been awarded several projects from Bayer in Thailand and China such as Bisphenol-A (BPA) Plant, BPA Debottlenecking Project, Polycarbonate (PC) Debottlenecking Project and MMDI Project. Customer's trustworthiness in TTCL's project competence, safety, quality, and competitiveness, led TTCL to the award.
